 Client Development Manager (Northeast Region)  (Healthcare Staffing Industry)

The Client Development Manager (CDM) will manage a regional sales territory for the nursing division and is responsible for increasing the company’s revenue stream and market share by driving business opportunities for both new and existing clients.  The CDM plays a critical role in the growth of our company, and we are looking for talented, aggressive, hungry, and creative sales professionals.  This position requires a high-level of daily activity to achieve your goals.  We offer a competitive compensation plan that rewards success. 

 Key responsibilities include pricing, setting account margin thresholds, contract negotiation, and developing relationships with prospective and existing clients.

 Additional Responsibilities include:

Developing territory sales plan in conjunction with Vice President, Client Development

  • Building and maintaining relationships with multiple contacts across our client’s organization
  • Gaining an understanding of the competitive landscape and how to sell to the strengths of our value proposition
  • Developing detailed knowledge of assigned territory to include hospital and market demographics
  • Assessing client needs and developing customized proposals that tailored to meet their expectations
  • Determining and establishing pricing and gross profit structure to maximize market share and meet company profit targets
  • Coordinating sales efforts with client service managers, recruitment and support teams
  • Negotiating pricing and contract terms in accordance with Onward Healthcare’s strategic goals

 

Requirements:

Requirements:

 3 - 5 years sales experience; preferably in the healthcare staffing industry

  • Excellent phone presence and face-to-face presentation skills          
  • Previous regional territory selling experience
  • Ability to use all forms of sales techniques, particularly cold calling and creative selling
  • Applicants must be driven, dynamic, energetic, and friendly and have excellent communication skills. 
  • Candidates must be detail-oriented with an ability and desire to excel and to over-achieve sales plans
  • Experience working with web-based and Microsoft Office applications
  • Approximately 25% travel
