We’re a leading Internet marketing agency looking for a motivated and detail-oriented self-starter to work as an IT specialist for BlueGlass. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, manage time extremely well, and effectively communicate with others.

You will splitting your time between our two Tampa offices (across the street from each other) and you will also be supporting our employees in Los Angeles.  You MUST be someone that is proactive, organized and who likes a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up new computers, emails, and phones
  • Installation/wiring of new hardware
  • Install new programs (QuickBooks, GoToMeeting, etc.)
  • Set up/maintain servers (local & remote)
    • Remotely access employees’ computers (LogMeIn/TeamViewer) for troubleshooting & support
  • Fix computers (remove viruses, set up software, replace hardware)
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware problems
  • Maintain email groups & Google Apps accounts
  • Research/purchase new equipment
  • Perform back up of data (Jungle Disk/emails/documents)
  • Support and maintain internal network
  • Perform routine system maintenance
  • Setup internal processes for IT setup/deletion for new/leaving employees
  • Setup and organize the Company’s documents in SalesForce & DropBox
  • Creating & implementing IT best practices polices across our organization

Requirements:


Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of computer hardware and software
  • Experience with LAMP (Linux Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • Knowledge of and experience with networking
  • Thorough understanding of wired/wireless routers and switches
  • Basic understanding of VPN
  • Related bachelor’s degree (MIS or CS or engineering) a plus
  • Experience with web hosting and domain management a plus 

Salary and Benefits

Salary will depend on experience and skill set. Upon completion of a probationary period we offer a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision and paid time off.
