Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, creative and innovative Paid Media Manager who has a firm grasp of the PPC/SEM and entire online marketing landscape. The Paid Media Manager is a key individual in the BlueGlass Strategy Development team and must have a love for collecting, analyzing and creating a story from extremely large data sets to create an actionable roadmap.
The right candidate will be results-oriented, flexible and will possess outstanding communication skills with the ability to work well independently. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of the search marketing roadmap including keyword management, creation of campaign messaging, bidding strategies, creative testing, and web analytics.


  • Develop near and long-term PPC account strategies and roadmaps for our clients (including paid social, display, video, mobile, etc.)
  • Keyword research (discovery and expansion), review and editing of creative copy (titles and descriptions), review and analysis of web site performance metrics, and optimization of campaigns
  • Execute day-to-day optimization tactics to increase conversions and margins
  • Identify and report on key performance indicators, and opportunities for improvement
  • Integrate strategies and recommendations into other digital channels such as SEO and Social Media.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of search engine marketing experience managing direct-response campaigns
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing large dataset
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent writing and communications skills, including verbal presentations

Preferred Experience (not required):

  • Client services management experience
  • Experience working with at least one of the following analytics packages: Omniture, WebTrends and Google Analytics
  • AdWords, AdCenter certifications
  • Experience working with bid optimization platforms
