We’re looking for a content creator who can craft interesting, discussion-worthy, and timely written and visual content that can garner exposure online.  

The ideal candidate is a team player who will bring a solid ability to conceptualize, research, and construct various types of content.  General knowledge or strong interest in learning journalism, data journalism, public relations, digital media publishing, and visual communication are all very important. This is a contract only, telecommuting position.

You will play a crucial role in content innovation for our clients, and will work with multiple departments to accomplish that innovation. If you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and love to be challenged, this is the perfect job for you.

You will be paid per-piece commensurate with both industry standards and level of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Research content
• Find credible, authoritative sources
• Write content ranging from articles to infographics to quizzes
• Construct pre-production assets for visual and interactive content
• Work with internal PR team to shape content based on what is current

Requirements:

• Excellent written communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of English grammar and spelling
• Able to write engaging, dynamic content
• Comfortable speaking with a wide range of people through email, IM, and phone
• Highly organized with outstanding follow-through
• Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing industry
• Proficient in Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite
• 2-3 years of blog writing, Public Relations, Journalism or other relevant experience required
• Experience in online marketing a plus
