Job Description

ServiceNow Administrator/Developer

We are looking for a ServiceNow Administrator / Developer to join our company on W2 (please no C2C submissions). The role will be helping our clients in the Bay Area with ServiceNow implementations and integrations/customizations.

Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Design new applications and integrations within ServiceNow
  • Manage upgrades and security remediations
  • Work with CMDB and discovery management
  • Application development using javascript
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to respond to multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • License/certification requirements 

Administrative Skills: 

  • General support, administration and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications
  • Build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes
  • Configure and improve core and custom applications
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow
  • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
  • Familiarity with the lifecycle of assets (procurement, inventory, deployment, upgrade/maintenance, disposal)
  • Experience working with both CMDB and Asset Management databases


Developer Skills:

  • Develop custom ServiceNow applications using modern web technologies
  • Troubleshooting / debugging scripts
  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each.
  • Experience with integrations with other enterprise systems such as SAP and Oracle
  • Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs
  • Ability to build ServiceNow Reports, dashboards and homepages
  • Experience with upgrades and upgrade processes
  • Familiar with Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML
  • Familiar with LDAP and integrations using LDAP
  • Experience enhancing system performance
  • Experience recovering data from backups
  • Experience promoting code changes to production
  • Experience configuring ServiceNow Discovery

General Requirements:

  • 5+years of solid/dedicated experience to ServiceNow design, development, creating solutions and integrations in ServiceNow
  • Work will be onsite in downtown San Francisco
  • Work schedule is 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday
  • Implementations are scheduled after hours between 6 – 9 PM PT 

Desired Certifications: 

  • ITIL Foundation
  • ServiceNow Systems Administrator Certification is a plus
  • ServiceNow Database Administer Certification is a plus
  • ServiceNow Application Developer Certification is a plus
